There is undoubtedly a market for this type of juice extractor, but Pure Juicer is not for everybody. The juicing process is more involved and personal. On top of that, there’s a considerable investment required. You can finance it, but still, it would be equivalent to at least four top-end cold press juicers or two Super Angels.
Let’s talk about what it can do and what advantage it has over existing hydraulic presses.
People’s Juice Press is out of the picture because it’s a manual hydraulic press. It’s substantially cheaper, but it’s like comparing apples to oranges.
The only point of comparison that we have is the Norwalk Juice Press. Pricing-wise, they are on a level playing field. They are also equally efficient and functional. There is basically no difference between the two except of course on how each product looks.
The only upside of Pure Juicer is it’s a more refined product with a modern design, plus the whole package is a premium experience.

Features & Product Details
Is it Easy to Use?
Of all types of juicing machines, hydraulic juice presses require a high degree of attention to detail. It starts with cutting your produce, picking a grid, grinding your chopped fruits and veggies, putting it in the juicer cloth or bag, folding it properly, putting it in the pressing plate, applying pressure and finally catching your juice.
In other words, it’s a bit challenging to operate.
But for the record, the company put a lot of thought into the Pure Juicer’s product manual. It’s very detailed. For sure, a solution to any issue can be found in that booklet.
Is it Easy to Clean?
Most of the machine’s components are stainless steel except for the food pusher and O-ring. It would only mean that the majority of the parts are dishwasher friendly.
To perform thorough cleaning though, the company suggests that it should be done with bleach and hydrogen peroxide. I’m not sure if introducing this type of chemical into your juice maker is a good idea.
Once you have dealt with the machine’s components, you should not forget handwashing your juicer cloth/bag. Or you can buy new ones at $20 per 4 pcs.
Quick answer: Upkeep is quite a chore.
When we talk about juice quality Pure Juicer is comparable to traditional slow juicers. Though it cold-presses the juice, its grinder has a high RPM rate. At 3,500 revolutions oxygen exposure is certain but not as much as high-speed juicers.
But let’s not forget the fact that Pure Juicer is a highly efficient machine. You’ll get the maximum yield out of your produce, and at the same time, your juice will have a shelf life of three long days.
What Kinds of Produce Can it Juice?
Pure Juicer can take any type of fruits and vegetables. It can even grind coffee beans, make frozen treats, make chunky or smooth nut butter, and even pesto. You just need to pick the right grid for the job.

In the world of hydraulic juice presses, Pure Juicer is the ultimate contender. It’s a well-designed product inside out, but as I said, it’s not for everyone. I can only recommend it if you have the means to acquire it. And more importantly, if you have plenty of free time to appreciate the whole juicing process.
